Gardere MLK Oratory Competition w/ Dalton Sherman and other young contestants

The 2008 Gardere Martin Luther King Oratory Competition showcased some of the brightest young minds in Dallas, Houston and Austin schools. Dallas fifth-grader Dalton Sherman’s inspirational words have created a worldwide buzz on YouTube, the World Wide Web and national TV. This video highlight’s Dalton’s speech as well as many of the other contestants. The 2008 celebration marked the 16th year that law firm Gardere Wynne Sewell has sponsored the event.
